AIxAcademy is an annual conference dedicated to empowering K–12 and college students to participate in creating the next generation of artificial intelligence. The conference provides a platform for young minds to share ideas, explore emerging AI technologies, present innovative projects, tackle challenging problems, and collaborate in shaping the future of AI.

We believe students should be more than users of today's AI. They should have opportunities to imagine, build, evaluate, and create the AI of tomorrow.

Inspiring the Next Generation of AI

Artificial intelligence is transforming how we learn, work, discover, and solve problems. Yet many of the most exciting possibilities for AI remain unexplored.

AIxAcademy invites students to look beyond existing AI capabilities, ask new questions, identify problems worth solving, and develop creative approaches to addressing them. By bringing together students from middle/high schools and higher education, the conference encourages curiosity, interdisciplinary collaboration, and the exchange of ideas across educational levels.

Beyond Using AI: Creating the Next AI

AIxAcademy promotes a future-oriented approach to AI education and innovation. Rather than focusing exclusively on how to use existing AI tools, we encourage students to explore how AI itself can be improved, extended, and applied in new ways.

The journey begins with imagination and curiosity, progresses through problem formulation, experimentation, and solution development, and continues through evaluation and new discoveries.

Topics of Interest

AIxAcademy is an international forum focusing on the interactions between artificial intelligence (AI) and middle/high school and higher education curriculums. With an interdisciplinary focus, the AIxAcademy embraces research spanning business, science, engineering, technology, medicine, humanities, and arts.

Papers accepted by AIxAcademy will be included in AIxAcademy's conference proceedings, which will be distributed to all authors. Very outstanding papers may be considered to be included in the proceedings of one of the co-located conferences which will be submitted to the IEEE Xplore® and/or IEEE Computer Society Press digital library.
